Hello – and welcome to my web site. A Brief History I have been making cakes all my adult life, starting with children's party cakes. When my daughter married, I was asked if I would make her cake. After many hours, I produced a three tiered cake with lots of flowers and she was very pleased with it. That was fifteen years ago and since then I have made all sorts of wedding and celebration cakes. Three years ago, I decided to set up a proper little business and I am very pleased to say that it quickly grew into a full time occupation. Cake design & Pricing Structure I do not produce a ‘standard’ range of cakes that can be ordered by catalogue number, all of the cakes I produce are designed following a consultation with the clients which may be at my home or theirs and at a mutually convenient time. If you particularly like any of the cakes you have seen here, I can of course let you have a price for it and reproduce it for you modifying it to reflect the colour scheme and floral choices of your own ‘special day’. The cakes are designed for you and priced according to the complexity of the design and will include the cost of delivery and setting up at your reception venue if this is required. (See below) Delivery I would mention here that I work from my home in Hailsham, East Sussex and delivery at present is normally limited to the East Sussex area although other areas could perhaps be included by special arrangement. There will be an extra charge for delivery outside a ten mile radius of Hailsham and I do not usually deliver celebration cakes but require that they be collected. If delivery is required a charge will apply. Homemade Cakes I can provide homemade cakes of all types including fruit, sponge, chocolate, carrot cake, lemon, chocolate chip etc or a combination of any of these, special dietary requirements such as gluten/dairy free can be accommodated. I will also be happy to ice and decorate a cake made by someone else. Although wedding cakes form the largest part of my business, I have also included some examples of other types of cakes which I have made.
